52-week high: Stock market update: 55 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 152.00 points up at 14433.30 on Tuesday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs on NSE were: Grasim Industries, DLF, Century Enka, Max Healthcare Institute, Madras Fertilizers, Siemens, Tata Elxsi, Supreme Petrochem, Orchid Pharma and Kajaria Ceramics.

Overall, 44 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 6 were trading in red in the afternoon trade.

In the Nifty 50 index, Grasim Industries, Tata Motors, SBI, Bajaj Finserv and SBI Life were among top gainers, while M&M, Tech Mahindra, HDFC Bank, Divi’s Labs and Britannia Industries were trading in red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 525.56 points up at 49089.83. Traders were seen piling up position in Diversified, Real Estate, Metals – Non Ferrous, Airlines and Term Lending Institutions sectors, while selling were visible in Electric/Electronics, General, Textiles, Metals – Ferrous and Trading sectors.
