Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs on NSE were: Adani Total Gas, ICICI Bank, Lakshmi Machine Works, Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra), Raj Oil Mills, HSIL, Orchid Pharma, Modi Rubber, Ganesh Housing Corporation and Max Healthcare Institute.
Overall, 35 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 15 were trading in red in the afternoon trade.
In the Nifty 50 index, IndusInd Bank, ICICI Bank, HDFC, BPCL and HDFC Bank were among top gainers, while UPL , Dr. Reddy’s, Tech Mahindra, Wipro and TCS were trading in red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 506.60 points up at 46792.37. Traders were seen piling up position in Diversified, Real Estate, Metals – Non Ferrous, Airlines and General sectors, while selling were visible in Agro Processing, Pesticides/Agro Chemicals, Services, IT Enabled Services and Beverages – Alcoholic sectors.
