Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty was trading 181.35 points up at 14829.2, while the BSE Sensex was trading 573.60 points up at 50371.32.
On the other hand, Home First Finance Company India Ltd., Astral Poly Tech, Jubilant Life, Aegis Logistics and Cipla stocks hit their fresh 52-week high today.
In the Nifty 50 index, IndusInd Bank, Cipla, PowerGrid, Sun Pharma and Dr. Reddy’s were among the top gainers on the NSE. However, Maruti Suzuki, Shree Cements, ITC, UltraTech Cement and Asian Paints were among the top losers.
