NEW DELHI: The benchmark equity index BSE Sensex was trading 1485.69 points down at 49553.62 on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Eco Recycling (down 10.18 per cent) , Valencia Nutrition (down 9.96 per cent) , Graviss Hospitality (down 9.74 per cent) , Unishire Urban Infra (down 9.68 per cent) , CFSL (down 9.63 per cent) , Darshan Orna (down 9.56 per cent) , RGF Capital Markets (down 9.29 per cent) , Dhanashree Electronics (down 8.81 per cent) , Rajkumar Forge (down 8.69 per cent) and Megasoft (down 8.01 per cent) were among the top losers.
In the Nifty pack, 6 stocks were in the green, while 44 stocks were in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 430.95 points down at 14666.4.
Meanwhile, Thermax, Dalmia Bharat, Blue Star, Dilip Buildcon, NALCO, Linde India, BEML, Hind Copper, NBCC and Astral Poly Tech touched their fresh 52-week high today.
