52-week high: Stock market update: 150 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 72.25 points up at 15028.45 on Tuesday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs on NSE were: Adani Total Gas, AU Small Finance Bank, Blue Star, CSB Bank, Deccan Cements, Avenue Supermarts, Equitas Small Finance Bank, Grasim Industries, The India Cements, Orchid Pharma, Quick Heal Technologies and Vedanta.

Overall, 21 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 29 were trading in red in the afternoon trade.

In the Nifty 50 index, SBI Life, Grasim Industries, Kotak Bank, HDFC Life and HDFC Bank were among top gainers, while BPCL, GAIL, Indian Oil Corp, PowerGrid and ONGC were trading in red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 273.81 points up at 50714.88. Traders were seen piling up position in Diversified, Rubber, Irrigation & Allied Services, Glass and Financial Services sectors, while selling were visible in Infrastructure, Trading, Gas & Petroleum, Learning & Education and Auto sectors.
