Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd. decline 0.78% as Sensex slides

Shares of Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd. traded at Rs 1566.5 on BSE at 12:54PM (IST) on Monday, down 0.78 per cent from previous close.

The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 1080.05 and a high of Rs 1675.8.

Earlier, shares of the company saw a gap up opening in the morning.

A total of 5,515 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 12:54PM (IST).

The stock of Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd. commanded a market value of Rs 42474.64 crore, according to BSE.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 45.92, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 27.81. Return on equity (ROE) was at 51.21 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 247 stocks traded in the green, while 253 stocks were in the red.

The stock’s beta value, which measures volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 0.52.
