NSE 52 week high stocks: Share market update: 50 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 50 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Tuesday’s session.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 249.15 points up at 14756.45 on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of Tata Steel BSL, Orchid Pharma , JSW Steel, Tata Steel and Shree Cements, hit their fresh 52-week high during the trade on NSE.

However, stocks such as Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week low.

Overall, 45 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 5 were trading in red in the afternoon trade.

In the Nifty 50 index, UPL , JSW Steel, Tata Steel, Shree Cements and NTPC were among top gainers, while M&M, BPCL, Bharti Airtel, Maruti Suzuki and SBI Life were trading in red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 815.63 points up at 49824.13.

Traders were seen piling up position in IT – Hardware, IT Enabled Services, Metals – Ferrous, Diversified and Mining sectors, while selling were visible in Plastics, Infrastructure, Consumer Durables, Services and Real Estate sectors.
