Barbeque Nation Hospitality owns and operates Barbeque Nation Restaurants, casual dining restaurant chains and International Barbeque Nation Restaurants and also runs Toscano Restaurants and You and Barbeque.

Analysts were not so bullish on this IPO, given the second wave of Covid-19, which is likely to weigh on the company’s earnings in the near future. Marketmen tracking the company said the revenue contribution from dine-in is still as high as 85 per cent for Barbeque Nation, even though it has declined from 97 per cent in the pre-Covid period. Besides, despite an increase in the number of the Barbeque Nation Restaurants and growth in consolidated revenues, the company had in the past incurred losses.

As of December 31, the company operated 164 restaurants, which includes 147 Barbeque Nation Restaurants across 77 cities in India, six International Barbeque Nation Restaurants across 4 cities outside India and 11 Italian restaurants across 3 metro cities in India. Out of them, 9 were operated under the brand name “Toscano” and 1 each under the brand names “La Terrace” and “Collage”, respectively.
