TVS Motor Company Ltd. share price down 1.04 per cent

Shares of Ltd. traded 1.04 per cent up at Rs 582.95 at around 10:57AM (IST) on Monday. The stock had closed at Rs 589.1 in the previous session. Equity benchmark Sensex traded 1173.54 points lower at 48856.29 around the same time.

The scrip has climbed 130.55 per cent in the last one year till date, while the 30-share index has gained 69.21 per cent during the same period.

The stock’s 52-week high price stood at Rs 659.8 and the 52-week low price at Rs 240.1.

Trading volume on the counter stood at 25,040 shares, while it quoted a price-to-earnings ratio of 77.34, an EPS value of 7.54 and a price-to-book value of 4.3. In the Nifty50 pack, 6 stocks traded in the green, while 44 stocks were in the red.

Promoter/FII Holding
Promoters held 57.4 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Dec-2020, while FII and mutual funds’ ownership stood at 11.15 per cent and 12.06 per cent, respectively.

Key Financials
For the quarter ended 31-Dec-2020, the company reported consolidated sales of Rs 6111.56 crore, up 15.98 per cent from the previous quarter’s Rs 5269.59 crore and up 27.88 per cent from the year-ago quarter’s Rs 4779.32 crore. The company reported net profit of Rs 283.65 crore for the latest quarter.

Technical Indicators
