Indus Towers Stock Price: Indus Towers shares gain 5.75% as Sensex rises

Shares of Indus Towers Ltd. traded 5.75 per cent up at Rs 266.5 at 10:00AM (IST) on Thursday, even as BSE benchmark Sensex gained 360.66 points to 50022.42. The scrip had closed at Rs 252.0 in the previous session.

The stock quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low of Rs 282.0 and Rs 149.55, respectively.

As per BSE data, total traded volume on the counter till 10:00AM (IST) stood at 10:00AM shares with turnover at Rs 8.92 crore.

At the current price, the stock trades at 23.11 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 11.37 per share and 2.19 times its price-to-book value, the exchange data showed.

A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher share price today because of growth expectations in the future. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.

The Beta value of the stock, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 0.34.


Shareholding Details

Promoters held 69.85 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Dec-2020, while FIIs owned 26.79 per cent and DIIs 2.63 per cent.
