Sensex tanks! But these stocks are up 10%

NEW DELHI: Domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, were trading in the red on Monday on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of Captain Pipes ( 20 per cent) , Mercantile Ventures ( 19.60 per cent) , Pioneer Investcorp ( 15.21 per cent) , 3P Land Holdings ( 14.40 per cent) , Starlog Enterprises ( 13.14 per cent) , Aarvee Denims ( 11.89 per cent) , Manaksia Aluminium ( 10.74 per cent) , SREI Infra Finance ( 10.26 per cent) , G G Dandekar ( 10.00 per cent) and Nureca ( 9.99 per cent) rallied over 10 per cent.

The 30-share Sensex was trading 1130.28 points down at 48461.04 on Monday, while the 50-share Nifty index was 338.1 points down at 14496.75.

In the Nifty 50 index, 5 stocks were trading in the green, while 45 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Cipla, Metropolis Health, Dr Lal Pathlabs, Cadila Healthcare, Supreme Petro, Infosys, Mindtree, Mphasis and Coforge hit their fresh 52-week high in today’s trade.

However, Akg Exim, Khaitan (India), Mittal Life Style, Suvidhaa Infoserve and Indian Railway Finance Corporation touched their new 52-week low in trade.
