Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs on NSE were: Vinati Organics, Panacea Biotec, Nureca, Gujarat Alkalies, Amrutanjan Healthcare, KPR Mill, Subex, Aakash Exploration Services, Saksoft, KDDL and Tamilnadu PetroProducts.
Overall, 35 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 15 were trading in red in the afternoon trade.
In the Nifty 50 index, M&M, ONGC, Bajaj Finserv, Power Grid and Maruti Suzuki were among top gainers, while Adani Ports SEZ, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Dr. Reddys and Wipro were trading in red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 1.80 points up at 47885.18. Traders were seen piling up position in Diversified, Rubber, Term Lending Institutions, Aquaculture and Metals – Ferrous sectors, while selling were visible in IT Software, Electric/Electronics, Shipping, Hospitals & Allied Services and Miscellaneous sectors.
