52-week high: Stock market update: 33 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading -97.85 points down at 14406.95 on Thursday on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs on NSE were: Aarti Surfactants, Bajaj Consumer Care, Dabur India, Emami, JSW Steel, Renaissance Global, TPL Plastech, Triveni Engineering, Finolex Industries and Dalmia Bharat Sugar.

Overall, 14 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 36 were trading in red in the afternoon trade.

In the Nifty 50 index, Cipla, ONGC, Wipro, Divi’s Labs and TCS were among top gainers, while Eicher Motors, Grasim Industries, Infosys, Maruti Suzuki and

were trading in red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 351.83 points down at 48192.23. Traders were seen piling up position in Sugar, Diversified, Metals – Ferrous, Gas & Petroleum and Metals – Non Ferrous sectors, while selling were visible in Plastics, Electric/Electronics, IT Enabled Services, Irrigation & Allied Services and Miscellaneous sectors.
