Dow Jones shares: Dow Jones opens lower as focus turns to tech earnings

Wall Street’s main indexes opened lower on Tuesday as investors banked on results from Netflix and other major technology-related companies this week to sustain the positive start to the earnings season.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 112.4 points, or 0.33%, at the open to 33,965.25. The S&P 500 fell 7.1 points, or 0.18%, at the open to 4,155.68, while the Nasdaq Composite dropped 1.67 points, or 0.01%, to 13,913.10 at the opening bell.
