concor share price: Concor shares gain 2.51% as Sensex rises

Shares of Container Corporation of India Ltd. traded 2.51 per cent up at Rs 586.6 at 10:51AM (IST) on Tuesday, even as BSE benchmark Sensex gained 58.19 points to 48776.71. The stock had closed at Rs 572.25 in the previous session.

The stock quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low of Rs 643.9 and Rs 329.75, respectively.

As per BSE data, total traded volume on the counter till 10:51AM (IST) stood at 10:51AM shares with turnover at Rs 1.57 crore.

At the prevailing price, the stock trades at 45.08 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 12.98 per share and 2.01 times its price-to-book value, the exchange data showed.

A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher share price today because of growth expectations in the future. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.

The Beta value of the stock, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 0.88.


Shareholding Details

Promoters held 54.8 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Mar-2021, while FIIs owned 24.0 per cent and DIIs 16.35 per cent.
