Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty was trading 178.45 points up at 15101.6, while the BSE Sensex was trading 610.96 points up at 50191.69.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bajaj Auto, M&M, Bajaj Finance, Titan Company and Eicher Motors were among the top gainers on the NSE. However, Bharti Airtel, UPL , , Coal India Ltd and were among the top losers.
