Adani Green share price: Adani Green shares drop 3.35% as Sensex falls

Shares of Adani Green Energy Ltd. traded 3.35 per cent down at Rs 1316.6 at 02:16PM (IST) on Tuesday, even as BSE benchmark Sensex dropped 136.22 points to 50515.68. The scrip had closed at Rs 1362.25 in the previous session.

The stock quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low of Rs 1394.0 and Rs 235.0, respectively.

As per BSE data, total traded volume on the counter till 02:16PM (IST) stood at 02:16PM shares with turnover at Rs 19.89 crore.

At the prevailing price, the stock trades at 1106.39 times its trailing 12-month earnings per share of Rs 1.19 per share and 31.49 times its price-to-book value, the exchange data showed.

A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher share price today because of growth expectations in the future. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.

The Beta value of the stock, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 1.9.


Shareholding Details

Promoters held 56.29 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Mar-2021, while FIIs owned 21.47 per cent and DIIs 0.3 per cent.
