The hospital chain reported a 469 per cent surge in consolidated profit at Rs 68.05 crore in Q4FY21 against Rs 11.99 crore in the same quarter of the previous year. The revenue of the company jumped to Rs 837.76 crore from Rs 742.95 crore during the period under review.
Shares of Narayana Hrudayalaya soared 16 per cent to Rs 507.60 on Tuesday, but later gave up some gains to trade at Rs 943.50 at 11.30 am. BSE Sensex was trading marginally up at 51,944.02 at the same time. The counter was settled at Rs 439.45 on Monday.
Narayana Hrudayalaya reported a decent growth of 12.76 per cent in consolidated revenues at Rs 837.76 crore in March 2021 quarter, compared to Rs 749.9 crore in the same quarter of the previous year. On a sequential basis, the total revenue was up by 11.65 per cent compared to revenue in the December 2020 quarter at Rs 750.36 crore.
However, the revenues have declined for the complete financial year. The revenue fell over 17 per cent to Rs 2,610.52 crore in FY 2020-21, against Rs 3,151.57 crore in FY 2019-20.
Shares of Narayana Hrudayalaya have doubled in the last one year from Rs 250.75 in June last year to 507.60 on Tuesday. However, the counter is 3 per cent shy of its recent peaks of Rs 524.10, it scaled in February 2021.
