The NBFC’s net loss stood at Rs 317.06 crore in the March 2021 quarter, as against a net loss of Rs 421.35 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.
The scrip tanked as much as 10.55 per cent to Rs 343.30 apiece on BSE in morning deals before recouping some of those losses.
At 11:15 am, the Indostar Capital stock traded 7.19 per cent lower at Rs 356.20 apiece on the bourse, underperforming the S&P BSE Sensex index, which was down 0.85 per cent at 51,879.76.
The Indostar Capital stock has gained 26 per cent in the last one year. In the last month alone, it has risen 19 per cent.
The company’s revenue declined 16.20 per cent on a year-on-year basis to Rs 278.15 crore in the quarter ended March 2021.
For the full financial year, the company’s net loss stood at Rs 214.10 crore, as against a net loss of Rs 324.62 crore it had reported for the previous year. Revenues of the firm tanked 20 per cent to Rs 1,279.79 crore in the year ended March 2021.
