Hemisphere Properties India (up 2.38 per cent), Brigade Enterprises (up 1.36 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (up 0.53 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate (up 0.48 per cent) and DLF (up 0.35 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Oberoi Realty (down 1.76 per cent), SOBHA (down 1.37 per cent), Sunteck Realty (down 0.35 per cent), Godrej Properties (down 0.27 per cent) and Phoenix Mills (down 0.13 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was down 0.04 per cent at 380.65 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 6.7 points at 15805.65, while the BSE Sensex was down 35.49 points at 52734.24.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 24 were trading in the green, while 26 were in the red.
