NEW DELHI: YES Bank (number of shares traded: 9.13 crore), Reliance Comm (number of shares traded: 5.42 crore), Vodafone Idea (number of shares traded: 3.48 crore), JM Financial (number of shares traded: 1.48 crore), RattanIndia Power (number of shares traded: 1.27 crore), Wipro (number of shares traded: 1.19 crore), JP Power (number of shares traded: 1.10 crore), Suzlon Energy (number of shares traded: 1.06 crore), Bank of Baroda (number of shares traded: 0.98 crore) and Welspun India (number of shares traded: 0.91 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:29AM in Thursday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 40.25 points up at 15894.2, while BSE Sensex was up 151.05 points at 53055.1 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (up 4.19 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd. (up 3.05 per cent), Wipro Ltd. (up 2.55 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd. (up 2.50 per cent) and HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd. (up 0.81 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (down 2.77 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (down 1.00 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd. (down 0.84 per cent), NTPC Ltd. (down 0.70 per cent) and Coal India Ltd. (down 0.61 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
