Indiabulls Real Estate (up 1.66 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (up 1.18 per cent), Hemisphere Properties India (up 1.06 per cent), Godrej Properties (up 0.66 per cent) and DLF (up 0.1 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Brigade Enterprises (down 2.88 per cent), Oberoi Realty (down 1.0 per cent), Sunteck Realty (down 0.96 per cent) and Phoenix Mills (down 0.16 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 0.17 per cent at 377.85 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 80.45 points at 15934.4, while the BSE Sensex was up 302.65 points at 53206.7.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 28 were trading in the green, while 21 were in the red.
