NEW DELHI: G R Infraprojects Ltd. (Rs. 2398.48 crore), Clean Science & Technology Ltd. (Rs. 2222.40 crore), HDFC Bank (Rs. 1855.27 crore), BSE (Rs. 1604.15 crore), Ibull Real Estate (Rs. 1232.30 crore), Tata Steel (Rs. 1134.69 crore), Adani Ports SEZ (Rs. 923.26 crore), NALCO (Rs. 884.97 crore), Infosys (Rs. 874.36 crore) and Adani Ent. (Rs. 849.89 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Monday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 171.0 points down at 15752.4, while BSE Sensex fell 586.66 points to 52553.4.
In the Nifty index, NTPC Ltd. (up 1.93 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (up 1.32 per cent), Divi’s Laboratories Ltd. (up 1.05 per cent), Nestle India Ltd. (up 0.56 per cent) and Tata Consumer Products Ltd. (up 0.33 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, HDFC Bank Ltd. (down 3.37 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd. (down 2.77 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd. (down 2.72 per cent), Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd. (down 2.18 per cent) and Hindalco Industries Ltd. (down 2.11 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
