NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea (numbers of share traded: 68.23 crore), IDFC (numbers of share traded: 8.22 crore), SAIL (numbers of share traded: 6.80 crore), PNB (numbers of share traded: 5.36 crore), YES Bank (numbers of share traded: 5.23 crore), JP Power (numbers of share traded: 4.41 crore), IDFC First Bank (numbers of share traded: 4.41 crore), Ibull Real Estate (numbers of share traded: 2.68 crore), Bank of Baroda (numbers of share traded: 2.56 crore) and Reliance Comm (numbers of share traded: 2.46 crore) emerged top gainers in Thursday’s market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 191.95 points up at 15824.05, while BSE Sensex ended up 638.7 points at 52837.21.
On the other hand, Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (down 2.33 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd. (down 1.66 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd. (down 1.34 per cent), Cipla Ltd. (down 0.55 per cent) and Britannia Industries Ltd. (down 0.24 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
