NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea (numbers of share traded: 114.80 crore), Zomato Ltd. (numbers of share traded: 69.49 crore), Vikas Multicorp (numbers of share traded: 7.95 crore), SAIL (numbers of share traded: 7.58 crore), YES Bank (numbers of share traded: 6.78 crore), Federal Bank (numbers of share traded: 5.21 crore), NMDC (numbers of share traded: 4.81 crore), JP Power (numbers of share traded: 4.54 crore), ITC (numbers of share traded: 4.45 crore) and PNB (numbers of share traded: 4.30 crore) emerged top gainers in Friday’s market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 32.0 points up at 15856.05, while BSE Sensex ended up 138.59 points at 52975.8.
On the other hand, Tata Motors Ltd. (down 2.31 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd. (down 2.06 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (down 1.85 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (down 1.70 per cent) and Tech Mahindra Ltd. (down 1.53 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
