NEW DELHI: Zomato Ltd. (Rs. 3390.74 crore), Dr. Reddys (Rs. 2918.04 crore), HDFC Bank (Rs. 1616.74 crore), Tata Motors (Rs. 1612.31 crore), Tata Steel (Rs. 1367.55 crore), Bajaj Finance (Rs. 1296.03 crore), Hindalco (Rs. 1171.63 crore), Axis Bank (Rs. 1144.70 crore), SBI (Rs. 1037.14 crore) and RIL (Rs. 1030.07 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Tuesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 78.0 points down at 15746.45, while BSE Sensex fell 273.51 points to 52578.76.
In the Nifty index, Hindalco Industries Ltd. (up 4.32 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd. (up 2.65 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd. (up 2.52 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (up 2.09 per cent) and State Bank of India (up 1.57 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. (down 10.49 per cent), Cipla Ltd. (down 3.94 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd. (down 3.25 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (down 2.87 per cent) and Divi’s Laboratories Ltd. (down 2.64 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
