NEW DELHI: Zomato Ltd. (Rs. 2043.60 crore), Bharti Airtel (Rs. 1787.61 crore), Tata Steel (Rs. 1717.08 crore), Dr. Reddys (Rs. 1536.62 crore), HDFC Bank (Rs. 1464.08 crore), ICICI Bank (Rs. 1242.45 crore), RIL (Rs. 1210.62 crore), Tata Motors (Rs. 1033.34 crore), SAIL (Rs. 993.76 crore) and HDFC (Rs. 959.94 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Wednesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 37.05 points down at 15709.4, while BSE Sensex fell 135.05 points to 52443.71.
In the Nifty index, Bharti Airtel Ltd. (up 5.06 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd. (up 2.58 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd. (up 2.56 per cent), Divi’s Laboratories Ltd. (up 2.07 per cent) and IndusInd Bank Ltd. (up 1.74 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (down 2.66 per cent), Cipla Ltd. (down 2.54 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd. (down 2.39 per cent), Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. (down 2.30 per cent) and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (down 2.26 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
