NEW DELHI: Tata Steel (Rs. 4313.25 crore), Hindalco (Rs. 2750.14 crore), SAIL (Rs. 2046.29 crore), Tatva Chintan Pharma Chem Ltd. (Rs. 1811.52 crore), Tata Motors (Rs. 1689.80 crore), Zomato Ltd. (Rs. 1624.84 crore), SBI (Rs. 1535.66 crore), JSW Steel (Rs. 1378.21 crore), RIL (Rs. 1306.91 crore) and Maruti Suzuki (Rs. 1065.22 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Thursday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 69.05 points up at 15778.45, while BSE Sensex rose 209.36 points to 52653.07.
In the Nifty index, Hindalco Industries Ltd. (up 10.04 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd. (up 6.86 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (up 4.50 per cent), State Bank of India (up 3.77 per cent) and JSW Steel Ltd. (up 3.70 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (down 2.39 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (down 2.15 per cent), ITC Ltd. (down 1.46 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd. (down 1.43 per cent) and Coal India Ltd. (down 1.32 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
