Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 141.88 points up at 52585.59 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, ICL Organic Dairy (down 10.00 per cent), Ramco Systems (down 9.45 per cent), Diggi Multitrade (down 8.25 per cent), Kanpur Plastip (down 7.71 per cent) and HSIL (down 7.40 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 26 stocks traded in the green, while 23 stocks traded in the red.

The Nifty index was trading 45.4 points up at 15754.8.

On the BSE, ICL Organic Dairy, PVP Ventures Ltd., Premier Capital Services Ltd., Oceanaa Biotek and AA Plus Tradelink Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Tatva Chintan Pharma Chem Ltd., N R Agarwal Ind, Nahar Capital, Swan Energy and Shiva Texyarn touched their fresh 52-week highs.
