SOBHA (up 2.62 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate (up 1.53 per cent), Phoenix Mills (up 1.53 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (up 1.15 per cent) and Godrej Properties (up 0.41 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Brigade Enterprises (down 0.61 per cent), Oberoi Realty (down 0.36 per cent) and Sunteck Realty (down 0.36 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 0.55 per cent at 393.35 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 45.4 points at 15754.8, while the BSE Sensex was up 141.88 points at 52585.59.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 26 were trading in the green, while 23 were in the red.
