Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty ended 69.05 points up at 15778.45, while the BSE Sensex closed 209.36 points up at 52653.07.
On the other hand, Tatva Chintan Pharma Chem Ltd., N R Agarwal Ind, Cineline India, Swan Energy and Gallantt Ispat stocks hit their fresh 52-week highs today.
In the Nifty 50 index, Hindalco, Tata Steel, Bajaj Finserv, SBI and JSW Steel were among the top gainers on the NSE in the today’s trade.
Meanwhile, Maruti Suzuki, Power Grid, ITC, Bajaj Auto and Coal India Ltd were among the top losers of the day.
