NEW DELHI: Suzlon Energy (numbers of share traded: 19.15 crore), Vodafone Idea (numbers of share traded: 11.92 crore), JP Power (numbers of share traded: 11.69 crore), YES Bank (numbers of share traded: 9.94 crore), Zomato Ltd. (numbers of share traded: 8.83 crore), SAIL (numbers of share traded: 8.38 crore), Ashok Leyland (numbers of share traded: 7.83 crore), NALCO (numbers of share traded: 7.18 crore), BHEL (numbers of share traded: 6.45 crore) and Trident Ltd (numbers of share traded: 5.80 crore) emerged top gainers in Friday’s market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 15.4 points down at 15763.05, while BSE Sensex ended down 66.23 points at 52586.84.
On the other hand, Hindalco Industries Ltd. (down 2.90 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd. (down 2.69 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd. (down 2.68 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (down 2.58 per cent) and State Bank of India (down 2.21 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
