NEW DELHI: Suzlon Energy (number of shares traded: 7.48 crore), JP Power (number of shares traded: 5.79 crore), Trident Ltd (number of shares traded: 5.54 crore), Reliance Comm (number of shares traded: 3.96 crore), Vodafone Idea (number of shares traded: 3.32 crore), Zomato Ltd. (number of shares traded: 2.21 crore), SAIL (number of shares traded: 2.16 crore), Ashok Leyland (number of shares traded: 2.05 crore), NALCO (number of shares traded: 1.72 crore) and BHEL (number of shares traded: 1.67 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 09:59AM in Friday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 34.0 points up at 15812.45, while BSE Sensex was up 104.49 points at 52757.56 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Tech Mahindra Ltd. (up 7.82 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (up 3.29 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd. (up 2.50 per cent), NTPC Ltd. (up 2.18 per cent) and Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (up 2.03 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (down 2.12 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd. (down 1.67 per cent), State Bank of India (down 1.12 per cent), ICICI Bank Ltd. (down 0.89 per cent) and Nestle India Ltd. (down 0.77 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
