NEW DELHI: IRCTC (Rs. 1815.96 crore), Sun Pharma (Rs. 1452.46 crore), Tata Steel (Rs. 1385.82 crore), Tata Power (Rs. 1339.32 crore), HDFC (Rs. 1231.23 crore), RIL (Rs. 1042.40 crore), HDFC Bank (Rs. 945.27 crore), Zomato Ltd. (Rs. 924.22 crore), Infosys (Rs. 903.84 crore) and PI Industries (Rs. 881.30 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Monday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 122.1 points up at 15885.15, while BSE Sensex rose 363.79 points to 52950.63.
In the Nifty index, Shree Cements Ltd. (up 3.64 per cent), Titan Company Ltd. (up 3.32 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd. (up 2.86 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (up 2.76 per cent) and Grasim Industries Ltd. (up 2.60 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, UPL Ltd. (down 2.16 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd. (down 1.69 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (down 0.68 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd. (down 0.44 per cent) and NTPC Ltd. (down 0.38 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
