NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea (number of shares traded: 6.87 crore), Trident Ltd (number of shares traded: 5.88 crore), IDFC First Bank (number of shares traded: 4.54 crore), BHEL (number of shares traded: 3.90 crore), GTL Infra (number of shares traded: 3.87 crore), MPS Infotecnics (number of shares traded: 3.46 crore), Tata Power (number of shares traded: 2.92 crore), JP Power (number of shares traded: 2.70 crore), YES Bank (number of shares traded: 1.85 crore) and Suzlon Energy (number of shares traded: 1.76 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:04AM in Monday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 91.15 points up at 15854.2, while BSE Sensex was up 291.13 points at 52877.97 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Grasim Industries Ltd. (up 2.81 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (up 2.06 per cent), Titan Company Ltd. (up 1.79 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd. (up 1.78 per cent) and Axis Bank Ltd. (up 1.71 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While UPL Ltd. (down 2.15 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd. (down 1.04 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd. (down 0.77 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd. (down 0.47 per cent) and Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (down 0.30 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
