NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea (number of shares traded: 19.53 crore), Sun Tech Over (number of shares traded: 2.19 crore), SBI Life (number of shares traded: 1.92 crore), JP Power (number of shares traded: 0.75 crore), Suzlon Energy (number of shares traded: 0.70 crore), IDFC First Bank (number of shares traded: 0.59 crore), YES Bank (number of shares traded: 0.49 crore), Trident Ltd (number of shares traded: 0.48 crore), Reliance Comm (number of shares traded: 0.46 crore) and Prakash Steel (number of shares traded: 0.36 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:24AM in Thursday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 13.55 points down at 16245.25, while BSE Sensex was down 48.6 points at 54321.17 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Eicher Motors Ltd. (up 3.84 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (up 3.06 per cent), Wipro Ltd. (up 2.13 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd. (up 1.89 per cent) and Tech Mahindra Ltd. (up 1.80 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While IndusInd Bank Ltd. (down 2.55 per cent), State Bank of India (down 2.40 per cent), Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (down 2.33 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (down 1.75 per cent) and Coal India Ltd. (down 1.38 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
