NEW DELHI: Tata Chemicals (Rs. 1115.65 crore), Glenmark Life Sciences Ltd. (Rs. 1004.54 crore), HCL Tech (Rs. 858.99 crore), Tata Steel (Rs. 529.41 crore), Bharti Airtel (Rs. 497.54 crore), Cipla (Rs. 434.79 crore), SBI (Rs. 396.79 crore), GAIL (Rs. 382.99 crore), JSW Steel (Rs. 359.86 crore) and Vodafone Idea (Rs. 350.75 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:24AM in Friday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index traded 16.85 points up at 16311.45, while BSE Sensex was up 33.29 points at 54526.13 as of 10:24AM (IST) on August 06.
In the Nifty index, IndusInd Bank Ltd. (up 2.24 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (up 1.85 per cent), Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (up 1.73 per cent), Coal India Ltd. (up 1.68 per cent) and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (up 1.29 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Cipla Ltd. (down 2.47 per cent), Titan Company Ltd. (down 1.04 per cent), Shree Cements Ltd. (down 1.01 per cent), Nestle India Ltd. (down 0.95 per cent) and Tata Steel Ltd. (down 0.92 per cent) were among the top losers.
