Hemisphere Properties India (up 5.23 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (up 2.61 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate (up 2.27 per cent), Phoenix Mills (up 1.13 per cent) and Sunteck Realty (up 0.49 per cent) were among the top gainers.
SOBHA (down 0.88 per cent), Oberoi Realty (down 0.7 per cent), Godrej Properties (down 0.63 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises (down 0.22 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 0.28 per cent at 408.5 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 25.95 points at 16320.55, while the BSE Sensex was up 77.63 points at 54570.47.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 37 were trading in the green, while 13 were in the red.
