NEW DELHI: Rolex Rings Ltd. (Rs. 1422.49 crore), IRCTC (Rs. 1411.26 crore), Piramal Ent. (Rs. 1165.47 crore), Tata Steel (Rs. 1118.34 crore), SAIL (Rs. 981.77 crore), SBI (Rs. 968.54 crore), Tata Chemicals (Rs. 954.94 crore), Adani Ent. (Rs. 916.52 crore), Tata Power (Rs. 886.49 crore) and Tech Mahindra (Rs. 846.32 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Monday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 20.05 points up at 16258.25, while BSE Sensex rose 125.13 points to 54402.85.
In the Nifty index, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (up 2.20 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd. (up 1.98 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd. (up 1.81 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (up 1.69 per cent) and IndusInd Bank Ltd. (up 1.29 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Tata Consumer Products Ltd. (down 2.11 per cent), Coal India Ltd. (down 1.95 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd. (down 1.68 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (down 1.52 per cent) and Bharti Airtel Ltd. (down 1.42 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
