NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 208.56 points up at 54611.41 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Kilpest India (down 11.32 per cent), ICL Organic Dairy (down 9.97 per cent), Acewin Agriteck (down 9.90 per cent), McLeod Russel (down 9.88 per cent) and Dr. Lalchandani Labs (down 9.85 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 27 stocks traded in the green, while 22 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 48.35 points up at 16306.6.
On the BSE, Acewin Agriteck, Garnet Intnl, Grandeur Prods, Palm Jewels and Tiaan Ayurvedic & He hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Repro India, Dynamatic Tech, Lancer Container Lin, National Plast and Anmol India touched their fresh 52-week highs.
