NEW DELHI: Tata Steel (Rs. 594.07 crore), Zomato Ltd. (Rs. 489.43 crore), Bharti Airtel (Rs. 412.32 crore), Manappuram Finance (Rs. 340.62 crore), Lupin (Rs. 327.63 crore), Hindalco (Rs. 315.01 crore), SAIL (Rs. 311.64 crore), HDFC Bank (Rs. 311.23 crore), SBI (Rs. 284.07 crore) and JSPL (Rs. 264.98 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:14AM in Wednesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index traded 57.15 points down at 16222.95, while BSE Sensex was down 187.12 points at 54367.54 as of 10:14AM (IST) on August 11.
In the Nifty index, JSW Steel Ltd. (up 2.13 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd. (up 2.04 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (up 1.88 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd. (up 1.64 per cent) and Grasim Industries Ltd. (up 1.34 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Bajaj Auto Ltd. (down 2.26 per cent), Cipla Ltd. (down 2.17 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (down 2.12 per cent), Shree Cements Ltd. (down 2.04 per cent) and Tata Consumer Products Ltd. (down 1.96 per cent) were among the top losers.
