NEW DELHI: IRCTC (Rs. 1613.45 crore), Tata Steel (Rs. 1566.29 crore), Bharat Forge (Rs. 1295.36 crore), Tech Mahindra (Rs. 1179.21 crore), Tata Motors (Rs. 1017.76 crore), Lupin (Rs. 965.42 crore), Infosys (Rs. 955.14 crore), Power Grid (Rs. 800.49 crore), RIL (Rs. 794.33 crore) and SBI (Rs. 719.66 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Thursday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 82.15 points up at 16364.4, while BSE Sensex rose 318.05 points to 54843.98.
In the Nifty index, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (up 6.04 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd. (up 4.76 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd. (up 3.57 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd. (up 2.77 per cent) and Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (up 2.54 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Eicher Motors Ltd. (down 3.74 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd. (down 0.67 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (down 0.64 per cent), Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. (down 0.60 per cent) and IndusInd Bank Ltd. (down 0.56 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
