NEW DELHI: Tata Steel (Rs. 45.45 crore), Apollo Hospital (Rs. 23.63 crore), BHEL (Rs. 22.94 crore), Indian Oil Corp. (Rs. 18.78 crore), Trident Ltd (Rs. 16.20 crore), Vodafone Idea (Rs. 15.95 crore), Laxmi Organic Industries Ltd. (Rs. 15.38 crore), Bajaj Finance (Rs. 15.11 crore), Cadila Healthcare (Rs. 14.72 crore) and KPIT Tech (Rs. 13.92 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:30AM in Monday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index traded 15.25 points up at 16544.35, while BSE Sensex was up 89.24 points at 55526.53 as of 10:30AM (IST) on August 16.
In the Nifty index, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (up 1.91 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd. (up 1.73 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (up 1.31 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd. (up 1.06 per cent) and Nestle India Ltd. (up 0.99 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Bajaj Auto Ltd. (down 1.54 per cent), Divi’s Laboratories Ltd. (down 1.29 per cent), Shree Cements Ltd. (down 1.28 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (down 1.13 per cent) and Coal India Ltd. (down 0.94 per cent) were among the top losers.
