Indiabulls Real Estate (up 4.81 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (up 1.11 per cent), Hemisphere Properties India (up 0.56 per cent), Oberoi Realty (up 0.38 per cent) and DLF (up 0.32 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Brigade Enterprises (down 1.41 per cent), Phoenix Mills (down 1.34 per cent), Godrej Properties (down 1.31 per cent) and Sunteck Realty (down 0.46 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 0.04 per cent at 394.7 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 1.55 points at 16527.55, while the BSE Sensex was up 25.61 points at 55462.9.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 23 were trading in the green, while 27 were in the red.
