NEW DELHI: Apollo Hospital (Rs. 715.70 crore), Tata Steel (Rs. 543.89 crore), Tech Mahindra (Rs. 325.39 crore), Vedanta (Rs. 271.19 crore), Bajaj Finance (Rs. 270.42 crore), TCS (Rs. 247.01 crore), Devyani International Ltd. (Rs. 240.04 crore), RIL (Rs. 200.56 crore), Asian Paints (Rs. 188.32 crore) and Infosys (Rs. 184.69 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 09:59AM in Tuesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index traded 22.15 points down at 16540.9, while BSE Sensex was down 77.7 points at 55504.88 as of 09:59AM (IST) on August 17.
In the Nifty index, Tech Mahindra Ltd. (up 3.86 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd. (up 2.74 per cent), Cipla Ltd. (up 1.72 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (up 1.37 per cent) and Nestle India Ltd. (up 1.26 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, IndusInd Bank Ltd. (down 2.02 per cent), HDFC Bank Ltd. (down 1.56 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd. (down 1.33 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd. (down 1.14 per cent) and Axis Bank Ltd. (down 1.10 per cent) were among the top losers.
