NEW DELHI: Tata Steel (Rs. 1025.73 crore), Nuvoco Vistas Corporation Ltd. (Rs. 561.20 crore), Bajaj Finance (Rs. 546.59 crore), Cadila Healthcare (Rs. 521.92 crore), Aurobindo Pharma (Rs. 449.43 crore), SBI (Rs. 446.19 crore), TCS (Rs. 434.55 crore), HCL Tech (Rs. 400.18 crore), MindTree (Rs. 397.26 crore) and SAIL (Rs. 385.15 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:40AM in Monday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index traded 10.0 points down at 16440.5, while BSE Sensex was up 46.38 points at 55375.7 as of 10:40AM (IST) on August 23.
In the Nifty index, HCL Technologies Ltd. (up 3.17 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd. (up 2.28 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (up 2.00 per cent), Wipro Ltd. (up 1.56 per cent) and Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (up 1.22 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (down 3.10 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd. (down 2.44 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd. (down 2.14 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd. (down 1.98 per cent) and UltraTech Cement Ltd. (down 1.97 per cent) were among the top losers.
