Oberoi Realty (up 2.23 per cent), DLF (up 0.45 per cent) and Godrej Properties (up 0.24 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Sunteck Realty (down 2.08 per cent), Hemisphere Properties India (down 1.41 per cent), Brigade Enterprises (down 1.32 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (down 1.19 per cent) and Phoenix Mills (down 0.43 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 0.16 per cent at 374.0 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 50.7 points at 16501.2, while the BSE Sensex was up 227.24 points at 55556.56.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 24 were trading in the green, while 26 were in the red.
