Shares of Oberoi Realty (up 1.18 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Sunteck Realty (down 5.04 per cent), Hemisphere Properties India (down 3.61 per cent), SOBHA (down 2.71 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (down 2.39 per cent) and Indiabulls Real Estate (down 1.96 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.99 per cent down at 369.7.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 45.95 points at 16496.45, while the BSE Sensex stood up 226.47 points at 55555.79.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 22 ended in the green, while 27 closed in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, SAIL, Zomato Ltd. and PNB were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of BLS Int. Services, Arvind Fashions, Steel Exchange, Stampede Cap and Mask Investments hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while Ujjivan Financial, PTC Financial, Windlas Biotech Ltd., Vertoz Advertising and Biocon hit their fresh 52-week lows.
