NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea (number of shares traded: 4.10 crore), Zomato Ltd. (number of shares traded: 1.71 crore), SAIL (number of shares traded: 1.67 crore), NALCO (number of shares traded: 1.63 crore), JP Power (number of shares traded: 1.56 crore), PNB (number of shares traded: 1.44 crore), YES Bank (number of shares traded: 1.16 crore), Vedanta (number of shares traded: 0.95 crore), IDFC First Bank (number of shares traded: 0.69 crore) and Aptus Value Housing Finance India Ltd. (number of shares traded: 0.67 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 09:59AM in Tuesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 16.05 points up at 16512.5, while BSE Sensex was up 30.36 points at 55586.15 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Hindalco Industries Ltd. (up 2.75 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd. (up 2.45 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd. (up 2.04 per cent), Coal India Ltd. (up 1.87 per cent) and NTPC Ltd. (up 1.81 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (down 1.21 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd. (down 1.15 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd. (down 0.96 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd. (down 0.85 per cent) and Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd. (down 0.79 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
