Aurobindo Pharma (down 2.44 per cent), Cadila Healthcare (down 1.42 per cent), Divis Laboratories (down 0.83 per cent), Dr Reddys Laboratories (down 0.73 per cent) and Torrent Pharmaceuticals (down 0.55 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Pharma index was down 0.3 per cent at 13659.65 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 23.65 points at 16520.1, while the BSE Sensex was up 58.68 points at 55614.47.
